

Born in Erwin, Tennessee, Dennis was the son of the late Everett Wyatt and Gladys Wyatt (nee Lewis). He was also preceded in death by his older brother, John Wyatt of Texas. He carried with him the values of hard work, humility, and faith throughout his life. Dennis was a devoted husband to Joyce Wyatt (nee Tolson), with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on love, faith, and family. He was a proud father to his son, Steven Wyatt, and a loving father-in-law to Kelly. He found great joy in his grandson, Alexander Wyatt, and granddaughter, Madison Wyatt.
A faithful member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dennis served as an Elder and was actively involved in the church community. He and Joyce spent many hours volunteering at the church’s food pantry, reflecting their shared commitment to serving others and living out their faith.He was passionate about sports, especially football, basketball, and baseball, and he loved sharing those moments with family and friends. He also enjoyed playing pinochle and poker, creating lasting memories around the card table. Dennis will be remembered for his steady presence, his quiet strength, and the deep love he had for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion that will continue to live on in those who knew and loved him.
Visitation services will be held at A. Ripepi & Sons Funeral Home, 18149 Bagley Road, Middleburg Heights, Ohio, on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8888 Prospect Road, Strongsville, Ohio, on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
