DEREK A. HALL, 83, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away on Dec. 3, 2011. Born and educated in England, a mechanical engineer before coming to the U.S. in 1954. He worked with The National Acme Company for 28 years. He was a specialist on the automatic bar machine. Dearly beloved husband of 54 years to Sophie (nee Thoma), loving father of Elizabeth (Rick) Ross, Alan (Mary Anne), John (Maureen), and Michael (Lisa), dearest grandfather of Kristen, Michael, Tyler, Katie, Ian, Margaret, Patrick, Ryan, Colin, Andrew and Maria, and loving son of Winifred and Arthur Hall of England (both deceased).
