Douglas A. Harbaugh Sr. passed away January 30th (age 64). He was the father of Douglas A. Harbaugh Jr. Cherished grandfather of Olivia. Son of the late Rayford and Hazel Harbaugh, dear brother of Nancy Allgood (Robert) and the late Patricia Hallis (Jim).
Doug was born in the Cleveland area and attended Midpark High School where he played football. According to him, he could throw a football a quarter mile, and was once rumored to have won a bet that he couldn’t throw a football over a mountain. He was a massive Browns fan and could be heard yelling at the tv for miles on Sundays. Near the end of life, Doug stated that one more losing season by the Cleveland Browns would be the end of him. Unfortunately, the Browns went 7 and 10.
In lieu of flowers, Doug would like you to write the Cleveland Browns and tell them to Run The Damn Ball!
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the funeral home 12:00 p.m. The visitation and services will be held at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
