

Ean Miles Esposito, age 42, of Brunswick, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Beloved husband of Angie (nee Settle) for 14 years; devoted father of Channing and Declan; caring brother of Caitlan Morris (Allen); cherished son of Ray and Maggie Esposito (nee Finley); loving son-in-law of Jim and Jeanette Settle; dear brother-in-law of Shannon Lowman (Scott); adored uncle of Ethan and Grayson.
Sgt. Esposito has served the Berea Police Department in many roles since he started in 2011. Sgt. Esposito served as a member of the Southwest Enforcement Bureau, he was a field training officer, community engagement officer, school resource officer, defensive tactics instructor, and department range officer. Sgt. Esposito was instrumental in updating the department's emergency operation plan and took pride in emergency preparedness for both the department and community. Sgt. Esposito is also a veteran of the United States Army. He served in Iraq as a combat engineer and combat life-saver.
Sgt. Esposito will be missed by all that knew him and were touched by his engaging spirit. Please keep his family, friends, and fellow officers in your thoughts and prayers.
