My heart is filled with sadness for the loss of such a wonderful lady.  I will always remember how caring, kind, and loving she was and how much she loved her family.  I feely truly blessed to have known her and will miss her dearly.  

My deepest sympathies to the entire family.  Your mom/mamaw touched so many people and will be forever in our hearts.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  


I always looked forward to the summers when you and Uncle Dub would come in from Cleveland and bring all my cousins in for me to hang out with.  It never... never missed that one or two of them would either have a terrible sunburn or poison ivy .  I always remember her smiling and beautiful . I will greatly miss you aunt Jean my middle name is named after you the Jean part. You are loved very much and I know you are with Mom and Pop and with the rest of the family in Heaven and I hope to see you all soon. To my loving mother....My life will never be the same, I will miss you for the rest of my life. There are no words to express the way I feel right now. I have the emptiest feeling in my heart, my mom and dad are in heaven and I am left here without them. Who do I care for, what do I do? The only relief I have is that I know you are in heaven with Jesus and have no more pain. Can you please tell dad how much I miss him an know I miss you the same. If I end up half the woman you are it will be the greatest accomplishment I ever make.

As we were growing up, we always had your family  and my family, Go on Jean Hover r.i.p. and be with the angels and and your family and friends, I know you were a godly woman of God, And you will be very missed by all the family,and friends Am going to miss all the good memories  with you, love you, Sandra Porter ❤. 

My mom means the world to me she raised all her children to be clean and God loving  people. She loved it when her grand kids came to visit and great grand children to  She spoiled them right along with Dad . When Mike and i were first married we went to her house on Sunday for dinner for a long tine and what a great cook she was . My mom would stop by every nite after she got off work when i had my first born to make sure i was doing every thing right .She was the back bone of our family when ever i needed something she was always there for me. I love you Mom with all i have r.i.p. with dad and Jesus and Fran your Mom and Dad and all others who went before you.


When we were young, Mom and Dad could not afford much. Mom would beg Dad to take out a loan so we could have a Christmas present to open. He would always give in. We may not have had everything we wanted, but Mom always made sure we had what we needed. She taught us to keep a clean house, to cook and respect others. She would stay up praying God's protection over us when she was worried about us.  We have a family that was taught to trust in God and I thank you both for that. You kept us strong and independent. The love of a Mother is the closest thing to God's love. I truly believe this and I love you more and more. Thank you for making me a good mom to my daughter and the strong women I am today.

My Mom is the person that taught me to be strong and to handle whatever life throws at me, that I can take care of myself. (Monetarily). That I have a good brain and can learn anything, God and my mother’s teachings have followed me and shaped my life. I love u Mom,
