James Thomas Bruno

James Thomas Bruno, born on April 6, 1950, passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of the late Sandra (nee Manek). Devoted father of Tina Camiola (James) and Theresa Bruno. Cherished "PAPA" to Olivia and Stella Camiola. Dear brother of Frank Bruno (Shelly), Maryann Guerin (Tim) and Tony Torres (Dina). Special uncle, cousin and friend of many.

James Bruno. If you were lucky enough to know him, you know he was one of a kind. Bruno was the most selfless, generous, humble, helpful men to ever walk the earth. If you needed help, he helped. If you needed advice, he shared advice. He worked and worked and worked some more to support his family. He was such a proud business owner of Bruno’s Auto Service. He fixed countless customer cars and put so many together for his family, his proudest one was the one for his granddaughter Olivia.

Marriage. Jim and Sandy started dating at 16 and were married for almost 50 years, until he lost her. Sandy was his princess. A piece of him shattered that day she left us and now they are reunited.

Family! Bruno was most proud of his granddaughters, Olivia and Stella. From the moment he knew he was going to be a Papa he never stopped smiling. He would come spend time with the girls every Sunday afternoon. They would paint, color, plant flowers, clean horse stalls, let them paint his nails - anything the girls wanted to do – Papa did! Bruno was the best dad to Tina and Theresa. He was generous, supportive, protective and caring. He was the definition of unconditional love! Whether he was lifting us off the ground or standing with us during our success he was ALWAYS there! He wanted nothing more than for his family to be happy and always told us to, enjoy the day!

A funeral service for James T. Bruno will be held on Monday January 5, 2026 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 - 4 PM .at the A. Ripepi & Sons Funeral Home, located at 18149 Bagley Road, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130, US.
