Loving son to Audrey Galvin (nee; Brinkman) and Francis Galvin (both deceased)
Husband to Mary (nee; Fischer), devoted father to Amanda Varga (Bob) and Cory (Selena), Loving brother to Theresa Juhn (Lance Whitson) and Linda Maurer, deceased (Dana), Cherished Grandfather to Lucas, Hannah, and Everett, and Dear Uncle and Great Uncle to many.
Known as Jim to friends and family, he was good-hearted, humorous, and loyal. He found joy in playing and watching sports, spending time with his family, and sharing laughs over a meal. He was especially loved for his devotion to his family, his generosity, and his ability to make friends wherever he went. His favorite place to be was on a beach with his family. He’s also been known to enjoy a beer or two.
A visitation will be held on February 6, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Craciun Funeral Home, located at 14925 East Bagley Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130.
A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm at the same location.
