

Beloved husband of Faustina "Tina" (nee Zak) for 58 years; devoted father of Erik (Nicole), Leslie Fardink (Kyle), Karyn Wheeler (Kevin), and Courtney August (Ken); cherished grandfather of Nathan (Jessica), Jameson, Hayden, Kaylin, Karsyn, and Kamryn; dear brother of Jerome (Joy), and Richard (Barbara); caring uncle and friend of many.
Jim was an avid golfer and, above all, a devoted family man. Strong-willed yet always wearing a kind smile, he found joy in laughter and cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. A passionate Ohio State football fan, he cheered on his team with enthusiasm. He was also a member of both the breakfast club and the traveling trio, sharing countless mornings and road trips with life-long friends filled with camaraderie and conversation. Coaching baseball brought him immense fulfillment and joy, allowing him to inspire and guide others through the game he loved. He also loved attending family sporting events, always cheering on his kids and grandkids with pride and excitement. A loving and devoted husband, he leaves behind a legacy of warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love.

The family will receive friends FRIDAY (April 11, 2025) 10 - 11 AM at ST. JOHN NEUMANN CHURCH, 16271 PEARL RD., STRONGSVILLE. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment at Strongsville Cemetery.
