Jeffrey Kohl

JEFFREY KOHL, age 52. Beloved husband of Katy. Loving son of Fred Kohl (Nancy) and Mary Anne Kohl-Schwarzwalder (nee Coufalik) (Gene). Cherished brother of Kathy Seasholtz (Tom) and Karen Garcia. Dear son-in-law of Rick and Christine Zone. Dearest brother-in-law of Kim Zone, Kara Zone, and Krissy Zone-Ventry (Josh). Devoted uncle of Jack, Amelia, Gabi, Greyson, Isabella, Colin, Quinn, Kamille, Matilda, and Henry. Adored companion of his four-legged fur children Bailey and Sassy.

Jeff grew up in North Olmsted and was a lifetime employee of the City. He was a world traveler in his younger years. One of his proudest achievements was attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. 

Jeff enjoyed riding his Harley, drinking IPA’s, pull tabs (which he called crack tickets), spending time at Fiesta Jalapeño and mimosas at Danny Boys. Friday nights were for sitting on his “perch” in his garage and spending time with friends . Jeff’s favorite time of year was Oktoberfest where he wore his special hat, collected beer steins, and danced to German polkas. 

Jeff meant so much to so many people. We will miss him dearly but we know he will always be with us in our hearts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday July 25th, 2024, St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 5500 Lear Nagle Road, North Ridgeville at 10 AM. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH BY 9:45AM) Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends WEDNESDAY from 4 - 8 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
