Joan M. Pallotta

JOAN M. PALLOTTA (nee Legan) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 21, 2023. Beloved wife of 56 years to Henry (Hank Pallotta). Loving mother of Frank (Rossana), Martin, Colonel Maria Pallotta, USMCR, and John (Natalie). Devoted grandmother of Clarissa, Mario, Leo, Rocco, Luke, Elle, and Ava.

Joan was a vocal music teacher, pianist, piano teacher, and part-time organist in parochial schools and church. She retired from the Cleveland Public School system after a lifetime dedicated to music education and performance. Her strong faith led her fearlessly through a short battle with cancer to reunite with God. She was a loving mother and an even more incredible grandmother, and she is dearly missed by her family and her many students.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Family Day School on York Road in Parma in memory of Joan.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 21st, 2023,10 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church. (EVERYONE MEET AT CHURCH) Inurnment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family will receive friends WEDNESDAY, December 20th, 2023, from 4 – 6 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH (West of I-71).
