JOHN CHARLES COOPER, age 63. Beloved father of Devin, Daniel, Brendan, and Patrick Cooper (Ariel). Loving grandfather of Knox Cooper. Cherished brother of Debra Oriold (Nick), Danita Wabeke (Todd), Pamela Hornak, and Patricia McKeon. Dear uncle of Megan, Michael, Liam, and Callie.
John was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran and spent his professional career as an engineer at Ford, designing car parts. When he wasn’t working on cars at Ford, he was working on them at home. John loved his family, and he loved life. He had a carefree sense of adventure as a young child, spending days hiking and biking in the metro parks. His adventures continued into adulthood, but the bicycle turned into a motorcycle. He was most at peace riding through the backroads and enjoying God’s creation. John learned of the love of God as a young boy and carried that throughout his life. In recent years he had a renewed heart to study and rejoice in the goodness of God. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in John’s memory to the American Bible Society ([email protected]).
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday October 7, 2024, at 11 AM in the funeral home. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on MONDAY from 10 AM – 11 AM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HTS., OHIO 44130 (WEST OF 1-71).
