A devoted mother, Joyce is survived by her five children: Ken Konczos (Cheryl), Debi Stallman (Jim), Sandy Konczos (Ted Zadd), Jimmy Konczos (Laurie), and Frank Konczos (Doreen). She was the proud grandmother of nine and the cherished great-grandmother of twelve, all of whom brought her endless joy and pride. Joyce was the loving sister of Fran Miller and the late Judy Seitz, cousin, aunt and great-aunt to many.
Joyce will be fondly remembered for her kind spirit, strong work ethic, and dedication to those around her. She spent more than 30 years as a friendly and familiar face serving customers at Friendly’s Restaurant in Parma Heights. Beyond work, she filled her days with creativity and community—whether stitching beautiful quilts as a dedicated member of several sewing groups, worshipping with the congregation at Bethany Lutheran Church or sharing laughter and competition within many bowling leagues. Her competitive side really shined as she made her own rules while playing card games such as Shanghai and 5 Crowns with family. She was especially proud of being inducted into the Greater Cleveland Bowling Association's Hall of Fame for her meritorious service.
Joyce’s warmth, humor, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched, quilts she made, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
