

Judiann was born and raised in the Westpark area of Cleveland, Ohio and was a graduate of St. Joseph's academy class of 1956. She was the mother of four children, eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her engaging personality and ability to make new friends in an instant. In her work life she had numerous positions in sales which were perfectly suited to her personality. As a Christian, she was actively involved in church through bible studies, support groups, and choir. Most of all, she was known for her ability to understand the power of prayer and was a true prayer warrior.
Judiann is survived by her children Christine Cribbins (James), Julie Finnerty (Brian), the late Stephen Malames and Phillip Malames, who loved her dearly, her grandchildren; Brennan Cribbins (Erin), Alec Cribbins, Meghan Finnerty, Nichole Fugate (Cody), Joshua Malames (Kristin), William Malames, and Bo Malames (Arthur Foster), her great grandchildren; Jimmy and Mary Cribbins, Alec Jr., Carson, and Enzo Cribbins, Kendra Finnerty, and Stephen and Karli Malames; her brother; Michael (Jim) McDermott (Della) and their children; Jennifer McDermott, Michael McDermott (Jean), Morgan Renevitz (Micheal), and her nephew William Wharton. She is preceded in death by her parents Michael and Jewell (Pihlblad) McDermott, and sister Barbara Wharton.
She is loved and will be missed by all her family and friends.
Judiann's family wishes to extend a special thanks to her closest friends who supported and loved her during her final years, to the entire staff at Generations Senior Living in Berea, Ohio for their love and care during her life and passing, and to the members of Cypress Hospice for being angels on earth in their work.
Services for Judiann will be private.
