Mary was born November 9, 1933 in Nagymacsed, Hungary, the daughter of the late Gyula and Margaret (Kamen) Rozsa. She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie Szalay; loving sister of Margaret "Munci" (Joe) Lipovits, Csaba (Luba) Rozsa, Anna (Philip) Orbanes, Arpad (Jennifer) Rozsa and the late Zoltan (Eva) Rozsa and Andrew Rozsa; cherished aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt of many.
She received her diploma from the National School of Dress Design in 1962, a course in costume designing, fashion sketching, pattern drafting, cutting and fitting. Mary and Leslie enjoyed their cottage in Marblehead and boating around the Lake Erie Islands and traveling the country with their Airstream.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 25, 2022 from 4PM-8PM at Craciun Funeral Home, 14925 E. Bagley Rd., Middleburg Heights. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11AM at St. Bartholomew Church, 14865 Bagley Rd., Middleburg Heights followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
