Mickey is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Keith) McCurdy; grandchildren Hailie, Chase and Payton; nephew, Eric (Kristin) Girard and great-nieces, Ella and Keira.
Mickey was a friend to everyone he met. He spent most of his childhood and teenage years growing up in Brook Park, Ohio, and later made his home in Parma Heights, Ohio. Mickey was well known and deeply loved by many, especially at his home away from home, Mr. B’s, where friends soon became family.
A hardworking and dedicated man, Mickey recently retired from Vitamix at the age of 71 yrs old. He took great pride in his work, and was known as a loyal and committed employee throughout his career.
Mickey was a passionate sports enthusiast. He was a longtime season ticket holder for the Cleveland Browns, faithfully enduring both the unwavering hope and inevitable heartbreak that comes with being a Browns fan. He was also a lifelong supporter of Notre Dame football, Minnesota Vikings and the Oakland Athletics baseball team, dedication he followed with pride.
Above all else, Mickey will be remembered for his kindness, down to earth personality, and the friendships he held close to his heart, many of them spanning back to his childhood. He was truly a friend to all who knew him, and his presence will be deeply missed.
A Memorial Service celebrating Mickey's life will be held at 6:45PM Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The family will receive friends TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2026 from 5:00PM until the time of the service at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY RD., MIDDLEBURG HTS (WEST OF I-71).
