She was born in Lakewood, the daughter of the late John P. Shailo, Sr. and Anna Rudlovsky Shailo.
She celebrated life dedicating every moment to her family, church and God. A devout Catholic, she served as an eucharistic minister for over twenty years at Saint Bartholomew Catholic Church. She loved to talk and made friends everywhere she went. She was a very caring person who always took the time to talk to others and made them feel important. She was a true angel on earth, happy servant to God and beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She attended and graduated from Lakewood High School where she went on to be an executive assistant. She was very intelligent and proud to achieve straight A’s in every grade. She always had a thirst for knowledge and enjoyed reading, researching various topics, doing crossword puzzles and watching her favorite tv show Jeopardy with her husband.
While living in Lakewood, on her 18th birthday, she went on a blind date with friends where she met the true love of her life and soulmate Charles Goble. They were married on March 1, 1958 and were together for 68 years. They were blessed with four children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Nancy is the beloved wife of 65 years to Charles K. Goble Sr.; loving mother of Charles K. (Diane) Goble Jr., Michael J. (Linda) Goble, James C. Goble and Therese M. (Guy) Cunningham; cherished grandmother of Charles III, Catherine, Sara, Leah, Michael Jr., Scott Jr. and great-grandmother of Leo and Noah; dear sister of the late Thomas, John and Bobby Shailo; adored aunt and cousin of many.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 11AM-1PM at Craciun Funeral Home, 14925 Bagley Rd., Middleburg Heights. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday at 1PM at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 14865 Bagley Rd., Middleburg Heights.
