NICHOLAS MICHAEL GRESKO, age 47, passed away unexpectedly while on a cruise with his wife of 21 years, Alicia Gresko (nee Lamb). He is also survived by his parents Nicholas and Pam Gresko (nee Domanick); sister Carol Gross (Erik); brothers George and Brett; mother-in-law Karen (nee Brandt); brothers-in-law Michael (Elaine), Gregory (Nancy), and David (Faith); sisters-in-law Katherine and Laura (Charles); and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Gresko (Sandra), brother-in-law, Paul (Kris), and father-in-law, John Lamb.
Nick was very involved with his church, Mary Queen of the Apostles. He served as a Eucharistic Minister and lector and would pretty much do anything that was asked of him, from leading committees to taking the lead on different programs at the church. He was also active in the Knights of Columbus. He was the founding Grand Knight of the Brook Park Council 13984 and Past Faithful Navigator of the Father Joseph J. McGraw Assembly. His journey with the Knights led him to serve in roles higher than his council; he was active on both diocesan and state teams. Probably his most cherished role was the role of state membership director where he came up with Inspector membership to motivate the Knights across the state of Ohio to increase membership and helped to achieve Circle of Honor. Nick was also a dedicated educator and administrator. He taught middle school science and had many roles in the field of Early childhood. He and his wife were a powerhouse couple when it came to the field and worked for many of the same organizations. He was a beloved boss to many dedicated employees.
Nick was an ardent sports fan, rooting for the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Guardians, Cleveland Cavaliers, the University of Michigan, and Bowling Green State University. He was truly a Falcon for Life and held a special place in his heart for his Fraternity Alpha Sigma Phi. He was a dedicated husband to his Falcon Flame, to Alicia. Nick will be remembered for his boisterousness, zest for life, and willingness to lend a hand. It will always be too quiet during football season now.
