Passing your highway exit and seeing you in my favorites call list still was hard today, but I know you’re in heaven without suffering, tears, or oxygen tanks. You taught me to love others selflessly and unconditionally and check up on those I love just like you always did. 
You quickly befriended anyone I was with over the phone when I had to put you on speaker real quick and always made sure to include them in the love you more at the end.   
You even befriend Jessica after calling her for a few days, later realizing that was not my number.  
You were sunshine on a cloudy day.  
I’m sure you left so many voicemails purposefully; always thinking of us. 
I miss our Tina Turner concerts in your living room, your laugh, and praying together.

Grandma you were “simply the best” and I loved singing that Tina Turner classic together anytime I would see you. You really were simply the best and I love you so much. I adored talking on the phone with you practically every single day and even if we didn’t catch each other, we always managed to leave each other voicemails and I will cherish those forever.  You always cheered me up when I was down and always managed to be the very best listener anytime we talked. Love you to the moon and back grandma and I miss you so much already. You are and always will be a beast and you were genuinely the strongest person I have ever known. You’re such an example for me of a hard working, strong and independent woman, who also knew to trust God diligently. I miss your voice and your calls already, my phone is so silent without them. Baby Deva would have loved to meet you and I am convinced he already recognized your voice from our many phone calls. I’m so heartbroken you didn’t get to meet your grand baby, but I know you loved him with all of your heart 🤍 I know you’re cheering me on from heaven, and I’m so glad you’re not in anymore pain. Give our loved ones a big hug from me in heaven and I cannot wait to see you there.

I feel so blessed to have had an aunt such as Sissy in my life. I feel like we shared a lot of the same sense of humor. I was so lucky to have had some long, meaningful conversations with her over the last few month, especially when my dad was sick and dying.  She had a deep faith in God but never bragged about it nor did she ever judge. Her faith was simple and child like.  I wanted to share something i realized I had after she passed.  My Mary went through a very rough time when her dad passed and has struggled with anxiety and depression for the past few years.  One day I was in my car and  Sissy  called and said " Hurry up and write this down!" She proceeded to tell me that God gave her this prayer and she wanted me to share it with my Mary because it was on her heart to do so.  This is the prayer 


"I am a child of  God ,  I was created by Him and in   His eyes, complete! I was enough the day of my first breath. Any imperfections I have were perceived and instilled in me by mankind.  I i will strive for all of my days to overcome them, with the help of my Lord. "

 That's just the kind of lady she was. I will miss her immensely but have so many good memories  to carry me through. Lub Lu Sissy!

You were the sister I never had. You were funny, loving and my cheerleader in life. I am so going to miss your phone calls and our long talks on how to solve the problems of the world. Until we meet again give “Duckie” a big kiss for me and know that my life was better because you and your brother were in it. “Lub Lu”💕

I am going to miss you so much! Especially you telling me how  you saved me in the nursery when they tried to put the wrong wrist band on me I would be going home with the Italians.  Also how I am the best because I am Kelly J /Jane and have your middle name. I will also remember how no matter what the situation you always made us laugh and those big hugs. Picking up the phone hearing is this Kelly Jane? I know you are with your "broders" as you called them. I can't wait to be with all of you again,  life is not the same without you all. I think moms phone is missing you too she sure is . Until then I Lub you forever ❤️❤️❤️ give my dad a big hug and kiss him for me please and everyone.

Mom , I love and miss you so much . Thank you for being the rock in my life . And keeping me out of trouble for 50 years lol. It makes me happy to know your back in the mountains of West Virginia with Don and Larry walking down the railroad tracks along rt60 , jumping in the Kanawha,  and sitting on the porch listening to those old Pioneers telling stories.  I'll have a big ol bear hug for ya when I get there !

Losing a mother is a pain that cannot be described in words. It is virtually impossible to move on from the memory of losing the woman who sacrificed happiness in her own life so that you could have a better one.  A mother’s love is irreplaceable, but that love stays with you forever and always.   
May the beautiful light from your Mom shine upon all those who knew her, especially her family.

I always loved talking to her even if only for a second! She had the warmest heart and brightest personality! I always felt so loved and at peace despite not being family. She really was one of a kind and she will be missed dearly. I know she is up in heaven still shining as bright as ever! Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to pass through and bless many generations to come. Thoughts and prayers to the Lancaster/ Deva family!

Priscilla was always the neighborhood mom.  Growing up with the Lancasters was always caring and fun.  Priscilla had a great sense of humor and always knew what all the neighborhood kids were up too!  Lol.  When I was a kid, I would always get in arguments with my parents and packed a Lil suitcase to walk down Clifford to my Aunt Louise's house all upset.  Priscilla would yell across astreet, hey Gina you running away from home again?!?!  Lol.  Those were the days.  She will be greatly missed

Mom didn’t have worldly treasures, but among her favorite things was her voicemail recorder. Taken recently,  this pic shows her “listening to her voicemails” spanning over a decade from all her beloved  people, some still here, some already gone on. This must be my favorite picture of her.

I would lay on my dad’s desk as a kid talking on the phone with my grandma for hours. Nothing changed except the location of our calls years later 🤍 Going to miss those phone calls. -Naomi, her first grandchild. 🤍
