Robert "Bob" Keller

Robert Allen “Bob” Keller, 79, of Berea, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Southwest Commons, Strongsville.Bob was born on October 4, 1946, in Tiffin, OH to the late Allen and Anna (Grubel) Keller.

Bob graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School in 1965 and was a 1970 graduate of Tiffin University. Bob married his high school sweetheart Diane Chadwick on June 17, 1967, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin. He retired from the IRS after 32 years of service. He had several roles at the St. Adalbert Credit Union. Postretirement, he worked at the Southpark Mall Chick-fil-A as a sampler.

Bob was a member of St. Adalbert Parish in Berea for the last 50 years, where he called bingo for many years. He was a long-time platelet donor to the Red Cross. In his free time, he enjoyed many activities: golf, bowling, travelling, volunteering, mentoring, but most of all spending time with family. To him, the journey was more important than the destination. He was never lost but did take the scenic route on many occasions.

Bob is survived by his wife Diane (Chadwick) Keller, sons Rich (Debbie) and Andy (Jennifer) Keller, along with nieces who were raised as daughters; Linda (Owen) Foster, Annette Goetz, Paulette Agerter, and Ashley (Tony) Virola, grandchildren and bonus grandchildren; Jacob, Alex, Elise, Emmett, Orlando, Oliver, Ruthie, Elysia (deceased), Andrew, Ashley, Sammy, Lucas, Mark, Savannah, Kloe, Delton, Aaron, Antonio Jr., Ashton, Connor, Amira, and Keva, bonus great grandchildren; Alex, Savannah, Damontez, and Phoenix, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by brothers Myron and Ralph Keller, and sister Carol Agerter.

The family would like to thank the staff and community at Southwest Commons for making us feel included during the last three years.

Visitation will be MONDAY EVENING JANUARY 12 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at A. Ripepi & Sons Funeral Home, 18149 Bagley Road, Middleburg Heights. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday January 13, 2026, 11:00 AM at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 66 Adelbert St., Berea. Internment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
