My dear father.  Each passing day, I realize the treasures you continue to provide me in all aspects of my life.  I thank you for your music  and your stories of the road.  I thank you for the freedom when it came my time to go.  I thank you for your kindness and the times when you got tough.  And father, I don’t think I’ve said “I love you” near enough.   I love you, I miss you, I’m happy that you are at peace.  Please pray for me.

My fondess memory of Mr. Sawyer is when I went on vacation with the Sawyer family to the Finger Lakes in New York when I was 10 or so years old. Being with my friend Jim and his family made me feel like one of family as they always did whenever I would go over to their house, which was very often. My particular memory of that summer was when we went out looking for corn to have for that evening's supper. Mr. Sawyer drove us in the family's station wagon through the roads where corn fields were with Jim, Linda,Bobby and myself in the rear of the car. At one point he said OK out you go  grab as many ears you can carry and get back in. Which we did and almost left Bobby behind. That is just one of the great memories I have of Mr. Sawyer. I am very glad to have seen him one last time in September of 2021. We had a lot of fun talking about old times. I will truly miss him.

We Pray for the repose of the soul of a good person.

Robert Sawyer is my great grandpa and he was very sweet and kind. He told me and my family to not be sad and live our everyday lives. He told us to not change our everyday routine because of him. We all loved him.  

I have so many memories of my Uncle Bob that it's difficult to list them all! He was a wonderful man! I thought of him as a second father because I loved and respected him so much. I shall miss him deeply! 

Dear Jimmy, Linda & Bob,
We are so sad to hear about your father’s passing.  Please accept our deepest condolences.  
I have nothing but fond memories of your parents.  They were very special people in my life that I will always remember.   God Bless You.  You’re in my prayers.

Linda, Jim and Bob,
 I always enjoyed visiting your father.  We shared stories about playing saxophones and the tunes we both have played.  Many other topics were discussed, including solving the world problems.  I will miss our visits.
I will be thinking about you as you travel down this road of putting your loved one to rest.
You have my deepest sympathy and  I pray you can find comfort in knowing that he is resting in peace.
