Robert P. Wendell

He was born in Cleveland, the son of the late Phillip and Dorothy (Curran) Wendell. Robert was the beloved husband of the late Frances (Hoover) Wendell; loving brother of Larry (Linda) Wendell and Joann (Gene) Napier; dear brother-in-law to Linda Trent, Janet Venorsky, Shirley Stollings, Karen Hoover, Geraldine Hoover Rudolph, and Charles "Billy" Hoover; adored uncle of many.

Known to some as "Baseball Bob" he was a life-long Cleveland Indians/Guardians fan.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Craciun Funeral Home, 14925 Bagley Rd., Middleburg Heights. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Wednesday at 10AM at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church, 6455 Engle Rd., Brook Park, Ohio. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
