Samuel Roy Weaver

Samuel Roy Weaver, age 89. Beloved husband of 64 years to Mary Jane Weaver (nee Albright). Loving father of John Weaver (Lisa Hehr), Jeanne Allen (Clayton), and Jeremy Weaver (Julie Krohn). Cherished Pap Pap of Maddie, Mitch, Katie, David, Libby, Molly, and Sam. Adored brother of Jim Weaver (Nancy, deceased). Dearest stepbrother of the late David Poscich (Donna) and Vincent Poscich (Ruth). Dear friend to all.

Samuel Roy Weaver was born in Greensburg Pennsylvania on March 16, 1935 to Alvan and Mollie Weaver. Sam was in the United States Air Force from 1954 until 1958 spending most of his service at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He married the love of his life Mary Jane Albright July 13, 1960.  They moved to the Cleveland area after their wedding.  He worked for the airlines and various concrete companies throughout his lifetime. He and Mary Jane happily raised 3 children and went on to thoroughly enjoy being grandparents to seven. He was an active member of the United Methodist Church of Berea, Berea Kiwanis (Past President), American Legion Post 91, and a fan of all things planes, trains, and circus related. He passed peacefully with his family by his side on April 26, 2024.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at the United Methodist Church of Berea, 170 Seminary Street, Berea, Ohio at 2:00 p.m. on  Thursday, May 2, 2024.
