WILLIAM J. CUFFARI

WILLIAM J. CUFFARI age 80, passed away on April 16, 2018 in Miami, FL, after a brief illness. Bill was born to William and Connie (nee DiSalvo) on May 26, 1937 in Cleveland, OH. He was raised in Philadelphia, PA and most recently resided in Lake Worth, FL. He is survived by his devoted spouse of more than 50 years, Charles F. Paige. He was a loving uncle, cousin and dear friend to many in the Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Palm Beach areas, and will be especially missed by his niece Amy and close cousin, Ricardo. Bill worked for Gore Medical for over 20 years and was passionate about working in collaboration with surgeons on applications of vascular grafts and interventional devices. 

A truly special soul, Bill was deeply genuine and delightfully charismatic. He will be tenderly remembered for his infectious laughter, love of music, nature, collectible trains, and devotion to his precious pets. Bill was a passionate opera aficionado and gourmet cook who authored a cookbook that captured his grandfather Biagio Cuffari’s original family recipe for Sicilian bread.

Memorial Services will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 313 Pine Street, Philadelphia, PAon Saturday June 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Courtyard at the rear of the church.
