David was the owner of Dohn's Hardware until the closing of the store in 2000. After retiring, together with his wife, he was a shepherd on their 65-acre farm until they moved back to Middletown in 2012.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Janice; and daughter-in-law, Trisha Dohn.
David is survived by his three children, Amy Dohn, Mark (Hadar) Dohn and Christian (Amy) Dohn; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings, Betty (John) Apple and Dr. Michael (Dr. Anita) Dohn.
Visitation will be 12-1 pm, on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, 2709 McGee Ave., Middletown, Ohio 45044. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 pm with Reverend Joanna Leiserson officiating.
