Don's hobbies included golfing and woodcarving. He was a member of the Miami Valley Woodcarvers, American Legion Post 218. His great grandson, Cameron brightened his days and Don enjoyed following his sports.
Don is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Ward.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Janice; son, Randy Ward, grandson, Andy (Danielle) Ward; two great grandchildren, Cameron Ward and Maddison Augsburger; sister-in-law, Myrna Ward; special nephews, Bobby (Lori) and Kevin (Jenny) Ward; great nephews and niece, Steven, Jason (Stacy), Brandon (Alex) and Rachel and his faithful Westie, Chloe.
Visitation will be from 10-11 am, Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 S. Sutphin St., Middletown, OH 45044. A Memorial Service will follow at 11 am with military honors.
