Esther was a loving mom, grandma, GG, great grandma and great great grandma. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and taught the 3rd grade Sunday School for many years. Esther taught 3rd grade for over 25 years, teaching at Poastown at Madison Local Schools and Middletown City Schools. Of her many talents, sewing was one of her favorites.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Tunnell; grandsons, Josh Tunnell, David Lee Adkins Jr. and son-in-law, David Adkins Sr.
Esther is survived by her children, Barbara Guest (Tom) Nadler, William (Corinne) Tunnell, Patty (David) Adkins; grandchildren, Shelly Frederick, Sarah Ross, Shane Adkins, Mark Adkins; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be 10:00 am-12:00 pm, Friday, March 14, 2025, at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH 45044. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grace Memorial Gardens.
