Herb served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Air Products & Chemicals after 33 years. He attended Journey Church in West Chester. Herb enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
His skill at these hobbies was unrivaled and live on in the dozens he's taught his secrets to. Herb loved his family above all, and loved the babies and children around him with a joyous spirit. Herb was always quick to invite a new friend or stranger to church and loved people through servant-outreach and a dozen donuts any chance he was able. To know Herb was to know kindness and love. Countless lives are richer and more full because of "Uncle Herb".
Herb is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia (Walley) Bunch; sister, Bobbie Jo Barela; brother-in-law, Jim Knepper; sister-in-law, Betty Bunch; 14 nieces and nephews; 26 great nieces and nephews; 18 great-great nieces and nephews.
