He was a generous and loving man that would do anything for you in a time of need. John loved being outdoors especially in the summer. He enjoyed horseback riding and gardening. John was a hard worker, retiring after over 30 years at AK Steel.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Marvin Barber.
John is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Helen Barber; daughters, Ella (Clayton) Larkin, Pam Gustin; beloved grandson, Travis (Allison) Gustin; and a great-granddaughter, Kamyrn.
Funeral Services will be private.
