Kenneth Eugene Moore

Kenneth Eugene Moore, age 81, of Trenton, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born November 20, 1942 in Middletown, OH, the son of Earl and Glenna (Nickell) Moore.

Ken attended military school from 9-12th grade. He graduated with honors and as Captain. He served in the USAF, stationed in Bitburg Germany where he worked as a military policeman. Ken was honorably discharged holding the rank of Airman 2nd Class MP. He retired from AK Steel after 31 years of service. Ken was a member of the First Christian Church, Middletown. He was a passionate volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, he answered phones and eventually assisted at their summer camp.

Ken enjoyed a well-cooked steak, watching the Cincinnati Reds play, reading scientific fiction, listening to music and singing. He showed his love for animals by supporting the SPCA both locally and nationally.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant granddaughter.

Ken is survived by his partner Stacie Zeciski; son, Timothy (Jessica) Moore; brother, Ron (Linda) Moore and many other loving family members and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Warsi, Dr. Tanase and the entire palliative care at West Chester Hospital.

Private services were held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Cincinnati SPCA, Shriner's Hospital of Ohio (in memory of Earl or Ken Moore) or Hospice of Hamilton.
