Annie Beatrice Reynolds

Annie was born in Snyder, Texas on June 8, 1928 to Jack & Ruth Simpson. She graduated from Snyder High School in 1943 and graduated from Hardin Simmons University in 1949. Annie married the love of her life Bill Reynolds on June 11, 1955nin Snyder, Texas.

Annie taught in public schools for five years before becoming a full time homemaker. She was an avid seamstress who lovingly sewed for family and the public. She spent a number of years involved with the Cerebral Palsy Center. Annie was a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan from 1965 to present. She could tell you all the players and when they played. She looked forward to this time of year because it meant football her favorite pass time activity. Annie was a member of Asbury Methodist Church.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Reynolds; her parents; one daughter, Athena Ann; one son, Tommy; and two brothers, Bill and Jack.

Annie is survived by two children, Bill Jack Reynolds and wife Cindy, Terry Glenn and wife Lori; five grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Cody, Courtney and Caul; three great grandchildren, Aubrey Lynn, Grayson, and Kace.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Ellis Funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Cody Skies officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
