Darian Wayne Bennett

The life of Darian Wayne Bennett began on January 20, 1972 in Midland Texas, the baby of three children of Charles and Jeanette Chappell. Darian attended Midland Christian through his junior high years then finished his high school years at Robert E. Lee. He loved playing basketball during this time at school and became quite good at it. As a young boy he learned about our Lord and Saviour until he was an adult, which changed his life. He was a worshipper and loved talking about the goodness of our Saviour. He loved his family with all his heart and was very grateful to them for all they had done for him.

Darian is preceded in death by his son Braxton Bennett, his father Charles Chappell and grandmothers Sydney Best and Effie Chappell.

He leaves to cherish many memories: his wife Sharon Bennett, his daughter Courtney Davis and husband Jeremy Davis, his step daughter Jasheka Roberson, stepson Jarven Roberson, stepson Jeffery Roberson, his mother Jeanette Lincoln, sister Paula Yates and husband Kevin Yates, brother Charlie Chappell, uncle Mike Best, and wife Christine Best, Nephew Samuel Best and wife Sarah Best, niece Jamie and husband Jeremy and daughter Jessica and Nieces Bailey Yates and son Channing Yates.

Nine grandchildren: Jayden Roberson, Na'Liyah Bennett, Thomas Hawthorne lll, Trinity Morgan, Charles Roberson, Javen Roberson, Dominic Johnson, Carter Roberson and Camilla Roberson.

A graveside service will be held at Ellis Resthaven Funeral Home and Memorial Park on Wednesday 08/09/2023 at 1:00PM. 4616 N. Big Spring St. Midland Texas 79705.
