David F. Walker

He was born on January 25, 1950 in Bowie, Texas to Robert Charles (Bob) Walker and Annie Marie Hoeldtke Walker. David received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University in 1972. During that same year he married the love of his life, Wanda Hutchings Walker on July 1, 1972. Thereafter, he became a Certified Public Accountant. He was a proud member of the Stonegate Fellowship Church of Midland, Texas.

David was a loving and devoted husband and father who truly loved the Lord. If his family needed anything, he would always find a way to make it happen. Making sure everyone had a good time was his good time. He would always say, “Everything I have is yours.” He was the most generous person and those who knew him well would describe him as utterly selfless. He was a wonderful man, and he will be missed dearly.

David is preceded in death by his father, Robert Charles (Bob) Walker.

David is survived by his wife, Wanda Walker; and family members, David Walker Jr., Mandy, Jacci & Aaron Braziel; Matthew & Kimberly Walker; Jon Walker & Megan Gibbons; Annie Marie Walker; Anne Cihonski ; Robert & Sandy Walker; Jerry, Raquelle, Chasidee & Chance Trimble; Robert Charles (III) & Brian Walker.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Stonegate Fellowship Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home of Midland, Texas. Condolences can be made at: www.ellisfunerals.com.
