

She is happily rejoicing with family who preceded her. She joins her parents, sister, two brothers and her husband, Floyd Landry, Jr.
During her many years in Midland she owned and operated Best Yet Answering Service and The Snack Bar, in downtown Midland. She always said she had the very best people in Midland on her answering service. She never liked being idle, after retirement she worked as a care giver for many people in Midland. Dorothy was a member of Alamo Heights Baptist Church before moving to Belleview Baptist Church in Midland, Texas.
Dorothy is survived by her five children, Larry Cantrell, of Wichita Falls, TX, Donna Sue Cantrell of Bastrop, TX, Woody Keith and Julie Landry, of Amarillo, TX, Teresa Tuttle, of Odessa, TX and Lennis and Janelle Landry, of Houston, Texas. Dorothy was loved by eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She leaves behind several honorary “children” including Bonnie and Stan Beard, Karen and Lee Bell, Sandy DeBord and Sandy Flournoy.
Viewing will be at Ellis Funeral Home, Monday, November 30th, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, December 1st, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Brother Bob Porterfield officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
