Dorothy Norene Stewart

Meimaw was born in Crane, Texas on February 28, 1952 to her parents Charles Lee and Norene Travis. She graduated from Midland High School. She married the love of her life Ronnie Steward on July 2, 1971 and they were married for 28 years here on earth.

She is a Meimaw, whether at Driven Services, in church, with her family and friends, in Texas, Colorado, or anywhere she traveled. She was passionate about touching people and she wanted to know that you got to experience the joy and peace of her Lord and Savior Jesus. She loved to laugh, work in her yard, and be anywhere that involved her grandsons. Meimaw served people in any capacity that would make something easier or better for someone else.

Meimaw is survived by her daughter, Lindsay (Kenny) Getz of Mosca, Co; her son T (Andi) Stewart of Brock, Tx; her grandsons: Coby and Cutter Robbins, Trad Stewart, Braxton and Mason Getz; her siblings: Karon Sears, Robert (Shirley) Travis, Sonda (Reggie) Tredaway, David Bolton and numerous nieces, nephews, as well as friends and family. Meimaw is preceded in death by her husband (Ronnie); her parents (Charles Lee, Norene, and Hazel Travis); her sister Donna Bolton Carnett; and her brothers Darrell and Harold Bolton.

Honorary pallbearers are Chad Tredaway, Richard Cole, Max Jones, Paul Crawford, Robbie Kohutek, Todd Robbins, Rick Smith and Shawn Dent.

A public visitation for Dorothy will be held Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Hwy, Midland, Texas 79701. A burial/ graveside service will occur Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4616 N Big Spring St, Midland, Texas 79705.
