She was born on November 5, 1923 to the late JW ’Snuffy’ and Lula (Ward) Brown, in Hope, AR. She loved basketball and was a star player for Piney Grove School in Emmit, AR in 1938.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rufus Sherman Wilson; children, Sherman Dean, Billy James, Rufus Donald, Jimmy Dale, Martha and Patsy; brothers and their wives, Allen (Willie), Ralph (Mozell), JW, Jr. (Hazel Joy); sisters and their husbands, Marie (Randolph), Rosie (Charlie), Lillie Mae (Doyle/Tom) and granddaughter Kristi Blanscett Graham.
She is survived by her daughter Brenda Wilson Blanscett and son-in-law Roy, great grandson Ross Graham and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park.
