Edward Earl Lucas, 49, of Midland, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, June 6, 2010. He was born September 22, 1960 to Earl Lucas and Mary Whittle Lucas at Midland Memorial Hospital. Edward attended Lee High. Eddie went on to become a master craftsman in tile. He received a C.N.A. license from Midland College. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Eddie enjoyed fishing, camping, and old westerns. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Lucas, and maternal grandparents, Edgar and Beola Whittle. Eddie is survived by his daughter, Amanda Lucas, and two sons, Nicholas and Justin Lucas, mother and step-father, Mary and Jay Fontenot, brothers, Randy and Rory Frazier all of Midland, TX. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home, Tuesday, June 8, 2010 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. Graveside services have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Resthaven Memorial Park-North with Reverend David Johnson officiating.
