Mr. Pete Trevino was born to Espiridion Trevino I and Concepcion Valverde on August 18, 1944 in Melvin, TX and departed this life on March 4, 2011 in Midland, TX. He was married to Georgia S. Trevino on November 15, 1961 and was a dedicated and loving husband for 49 years until his passing.
He proudly served as Deputy Marshall of Sundown, TX in his early years, and worked at Texas Department of Transportation until his retirement 4 years ago.
He was very devoted to God and family. He was well respected by friends and family and well-liked for his friendly personality, listening ear and inspiring strength as the head of the family. He will be remembered by most for his witty sense of humor and ability to make a room break out in laughter.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Georgia, three brothers; Ismael, George and Henry, one sister, Berta, his five children; Corrina, Connie, Anna, Pete III and Ernie, sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Though our hearts seem empty, filling it with happy memories can help us find our smile. Memories are the legacy of love, thank you Pio, Dad and Popo for so much love to be remembered and had. Till we meet again.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 7, 2011 in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00 PM. Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm.
