Genita "Shorty" Loraine Wiggins

Genita was born on November 6, 1953, in Andrews, Texas to Ellen Weathered Watkins and Allen Benson Watkins. She graduated from Midland High School and was a retired Investment Broker. Genita enjoyed riding on the back of her husband Jimmy’s motorcycle until she was no longer able to. She was a very devoted wife, mother and friend who loved people dearly and will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. Genita was generous to a fault and would do anything for anyone whether they asked or not. She also had a little Chihuahua name Bud Rose who she adored.

Genita was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Ellen Watkins; sister, Dalleta Bell and brother, Walter R. Burrow and lastly, her beloved son, Joey Bolain.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jimmy Wiggins of Midland; her children, Kaci Aubrey and her husband, Nathan of Midland; her brother James Colston of Midland; her sister, Judy Holcomb and her husband Steve of Midland; grandchildren, Madison Aubrey and Emily Aubrey.

A "Celebration of Life" Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Ellis-Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Midland, Texas. Inurnment will take place immediately following the Chapel Service at Resthaven Cemetery adjacent to the funeral home.
