Glen was born in Pampa, Texas on January 7, 1935. He graduated from Dumas High School. Glen was married to Beverly (Sunny) Nies on November 19, 1955. They moved to Midland on March 19, 1962.
Glen worked as an outside salesman for Stewart Warner-Alemite for thirty years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and telling tall tales. He was a third degree Mason.
Glen is preceded in death by his father Forrest Mileage Brown, his mother Hester LaFloy Brown and his son Rickey Glen Brown.
Glen is survived by his wife Sunny; son, Mark Brown; daughter, Cheryl Valenzuela and her husband Sam and their children Sam and Jacob; daughter, Susan Brown and her son Rodney Hamilton; grandchildren, Nicholas Brown and Marissa Hoelscher; nine great-grandchildren and many loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to a charity of one’s choice.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 29, 2016.
