

Jaime was born in Lamesa, Texas on December 12th, 1976. He graduated from Lamesa High School and attended South Plains College.
Jaime worked as a field technician for Platinum Vapor Control for three years. He enjoyed coaching his son, Diago, and daughter, Andria, in various sports. He was also actively involved and competed in drag racing events. He spent much of his time with his son on the performance enhancement of his racing cars. Jaime would spend most of his free time surrounded by friends and family. He particularly enjoyed bonding with his big brother, George Jr., and his big sister, Maricela, and their families. Much of his time was also spent with his loving father and mother, George Sr. and Maria.
Jaime is preceded in death by his grandparents, Estolio and Rosa Lara and Jorge and Maria Perez.
Jaime is survived by his son Diago; his daughter, Andria; his father, George Sr.; his mother, Maria; his sister, Maricela; his brother, George Jr.; his sister in law, Ami; his brother in law, Alex; his nephews, Wesley, Cain, Valentin, Luke, Joaquin and Adriano; his nieces, Kristen, Georgee and McKinzee and many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Go Fund Me account, “Diago and Andria’s Bright Future Fund.”
The family of Jaime Lara wishes to thank the dedicated staff of Midland Memorial Hospital for their outstanding patient care and all of the friends and family who offered their prayers and spiritual support during our devastating time of need and for Father David Herrera for providing Jaime with his final sacraments.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:30p.m., at Ellis Funeral Home on Friday, May 6th. The Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7th at St. Stephens Catholic Church with Msgr. James Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
