Jenny Marie Handte

Our precious girl went to be with the Lord. Jenny was born in New Braunfels, Texas on July 25, 1998 to Pamela and Mark Handte. She graduated high school at the age of 16 and was planning to attend Midland College to become a counselor. Jenny loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed listening to country music, cruising around with friends, and helping others. Jenny would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need.

Jenny was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother and grandfather Nettie and Elvin Row, paternal grandfather Fred Handte, Aunt Sandra Spencer, and Uncle Lynnie Row.

She is survived by her mother Pamela Handte and father Mark Handte; stepfather Kevin Gant; brother Gordon Handte; stepsisters Leeanna Calzada and Aleisha Gant; grandfather Roger Handte; grandmother Trudy Handte; great grandmother Ruth Handte; Aunts and Uncles Linda Row, Nita Winkelman, Carla Power, and Cheryl Handte; Great Uncle Gordon ; cousins Jody and Brooke Martin, Daniella and Kaci Calderon, Marcy Palmer, Russ Winkelman, Bradley Power, Brian Power, Adam Power, Garrett Parsons, Micki Dickman, Shannon and Terry Row, and Kenny Row. Jenny also had numerous cousins and second cousins.

A Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 28, 2015. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Odessa, Texas. Services will be officiated by David Adkins.
