Jensen Hyatt Getz

Jensen Hyatt Getz passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011. He was born on August 29, 1995 in Midland, Texas to Michael and Jeri Getz. Jensen loved to take family vacations, especially loved South Padre Island. The time he enjoyed the most was the time spent with his brothers, playing basketball, football and video games. Jensen was a movie buff and loved watching movies. He liked tinkering with things to learn how things worked. He loved spending time with his nephew, Rivers, he was a real natural with him. Jensen was a sophomore at Midland High School. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jim and Linda Reinli. Jensen is survived by his parents, Michael and Jeri Getz; brother, Jared Getz; Jared’s son and Jensen’s nephew, Rivers; brother, Jory Getz; paternal grandparents, Bud and Phyl Getz; uncle and aunt, Larry and Kim Burns, all of Midland; aunt, Joni Reinli of Evansville, IN.; uncle and aunt, James and Ellen Reinli, also of Evansville, IN.; uncle and aunt, Tracey and Kathryn Thomassee of Winnie, TX; cousins, Ashley Burns of Midland, TX; Colby Burns of Houston, TX; Tyler, Jerri, Blake and Kali Thomassee of Winnie, TX. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 31, 2011 at Stonegate Fellowship. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
