Katrina N. Lathram

Katrina Nichole Lathram of Odessa, TX went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the age of 29. She was born July 25, 1980 in Hobbs, NM to Pamela and Curtis Lathram. She attended New Life Christian Academy in Hobbs, NM for K-3 through 9th grade, and graduated in 1998 from Greenwood High School of Midland, TX. Katrina loved spending time with her family, friends, and dog “Dusty”. Katrina also enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, and talking with friends on the phone. She was known for having an “off the wall” sense of humor, as well as a listening ear and heartfelt hugs. Katrina possessed a special love for people of all ages and backgrounds and had no difficulty reaching out and expressing that affection for others. She will be missed by those who know and love her. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Douglas and Ethel Lathram of Hobbs, NM. Katrina is survived by her parents, Pamela and Curtis Lathram of Odessa, TX; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gabrial and Kayla Lathram, and their son, Brayden, all of Odessa, TX; Travis and Tiffany Lathram and their children, Trevor and Taylor, all of Midland, TX; Also surviving are her maternal grandparents, Willard and Dorothy Galloway of Greenwood, TX; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, and her boy friend, Keven Covert of Odessa, TX. The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home, Friday, April 9, 2010 between the hours of 5:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. Funeral services have been scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Stonegate Fellowship, 6000 Wadley Avenue, in Midland, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered at www.ellisfunerals.com.
