Linda Nell Parum Hodges

Linda was born in Wolf City, Texas on October 19, 1948. Linda loved her family and enjoyed playing bingo. Linda married the love of her life, Bobby Hodges, on August 11, 1964 in Plains, Texas. They were married for 49 wonderful years.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Hodges, her parents Roy and Dessie Parum, her brothers Kenneth and Eddie Parum.

Linda is survived by her son Charlie Hodges of Midland, TX, her daughter Tammy Hodges and son in law Eddie Pittman of Midland, TX. Grandchildren Christopher Austin, Tommy Wilson, Courtney Mendoza and her husband Joseph Mendoza, Brittany Hodges, and Joshua Pittman all of Midland, TX. Great grandchildren Malaya Mendoza, Colton Austin, Cambrie Austin, Kayven Manning, Khylin Manning, and Isabella Austin. Siblings, Joyce Hale and husband Cecil Hale, Martha Baker, Alice Davis, Wallace Parum and wife Linda Parum, Janie King and husband Weldon King, Lucky Parum and wife Brenda Parum, Stella Green and husband Randall Green, Donald Parum and wife Vicky Parum, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 15, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday July 16, 2015 at 11:00am, at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bob Porterfield officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial following services.

Linda’s Pallbearers will be: Jon Gray, Michael Parum, Zeke Butler, Johnny (Bubba) Parum, Michael Fisette, Tyler Nettles, and Caleb Butler. Honorary Pall Bearer: Johnny Williams.
