

May Hobbs has gone home to be with the Lord on July 4th, 2013. May was born in Lubbock, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Davis on February 13, 1940, She married William Hoyt Hobbs on December 7, 1961 in Abilene, Texas. May Loved the Lord and her life was a witness to this relationship. May be remembered by some from teaching Sunday school at Kelview Heights Baptist Church. May loved and appreciated her church home family and staff including pastors, Jerry Berry, Jeff Franklin and Frank Johnson. May retired from Cities Service Oil & Gas Company (Occidental Oil & Gas) after 25 years of service.
Those left behind to honor and cherish her memory is her son Kirk Hobbs and wife Sharon of Manama, Bahrain, and Grandson Jake Hobbs of Dallas, texas; Daughter Carla May Hobbs and Granddaughter LaVonta Harper and husband Kenny, and Granddaughter Landri and Grandsons Kole and Jake of Midland, Texas. Sister Amie Perkins, nieces Billie and Nita and Nephew Marion of Clyde, Texas; nephews John-John, Chris and James of El Paso, Texas; niece Sherri Hurbough, and nephews Chris and Joe Davis.
Proceeded in death by Mother and Father Lucille and E.W. Davis from Post, Texas, son Doak Hobbs (Midland, Texas), who died in skiing accident in Ruidoso, New Mexico (February 17, 2001), Brothers Jerry Foster (El Paso, Texas) and twin-brother Ray Davis (Austin, Texas)
Three step-sons from Oklahoma, Robert, Wille and Danny Hobbs;
