Melvin Eugene Fesler, age 82 of Midland, died Wednesday, November 19, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10am Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Ellis Funeral Home of Midland. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7:00pm Friday, November 27, 2020 at the funeral home.
Mr. Fesler was born on March 13, 1938 in Lockwood, Missouri to the late Woodrow and Helen Hurt Fesler. He worked most of his life in the oil field traveling all reaches of the world. While in high school, he met and married the love of his life, the girl next door, Mary Sherman. Family was always first and foremost in his life. Melvin will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Fesler and D.W. Fesler, Jr. and by a son, Ronald W. Fesler.
Survivors include his son, Gary Lynn Fesler; his daughter, Tamera Kaye “Tammy” Miller; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
