Patty and her husband, James H. Frizell, were residents of Midland for more than 60 years.
Patty was an active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church throughout its existence and became a member of Grace Presbyterian Church with the same zeal. She was active in Presbytery committees throughout her life. Patty was a founding member of Midland Quilter’s Guild, where her quilts were regularly displayed and sometime award winners.
Her husband preceded her in death on March 3, 2013.
Patty is succeeded by her children Janet Hudson of Prosper, Texas and James M. Frizell of Frisco, Texas and their spouses J.C. Hudson and Toni Frizell; grandchildren, Sarah and Andrew Kopec and their spouses, Michael Roberts and Chassi Kopec, and Chad Blum and his wife, Aimee; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Roberts and Micayla and Zoie Blum as well as Baby Kopec due in August and Baby Roberts due in October and four bonus great-grands who she loved as her own. Patty is further succeeded by Stan Kopec, Joann and Jimmy McCown, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be at Ellis Funeral Home on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 5 to 7 pm. Interment will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park on Tuesday, July 10 at 10:00 am. A memorial service will follow at Grace Presbyterian Church at 11:00 am. Memorials can be made to the charity of your choice.
