Wilma Jane Anderson

She was born on June 5, 1923, in Wirt County, WV, to Hugh & Deborah Prather.

She graduated in 1940 from Wirt County High School and was valedictorian of her class. She worked as an administrative assistant and finished her lifelong career as Office Administrator for Turpin, Smith, Dyer, Saxe & MacDonald Law firm.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 78 years, Jack Anderson. He was the love of her life, and they enjoyed many years traveling and adventuring around the country. They also enjoyed entertaining, visiting family, and collecting artwork and souvenirs from their travels.

Also preceding her in death were her brothers. Olin (Muriel) Prather, Denzil (Madeline) Prather and Glen Prather.

She is survived by her "Baby Brother" Bruce (Pat) Prather and several nieces & nephews. She was a favorite Aunt and will be remembered fondly. It was always a special time when Uncle Jack & Aunt Wilma would visit from Texas.

Wilma truly loved Midland Texas and her home there. The family would like to thank her friend of many years, Ms. Leola (Cookie) Clater. Her help & loyal friendship was a true blessing, and Wilma adored her.

We would also like to thank our" Texas Angels" who cared for Wilma over the past year, allowing her to remain in her beloved home. Thank you to Ms. Rhonda Mariot- and her "girls" Amanda, Hellen, and Tammy.
