Wilma Louise Bilbrey Robertson, 86, of Midland was received into her Savior arms on Friday, December 28, 2012. She was born on May 10, 1926 in Hollis, Oklahoma. Wilma sold Avon in Midland since 1970. She loved her customers and built sweet friendships while working.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Leota Bilbrey of Lockney, Texas, a brother, William Lowell Bilbrey and beloved sister-in-law Wanda Joy of Floydada, Texas; Wilma’s first husband Gipsy Wayne Newman and her second husband Cecil Robertson, both from Midland.
Those left behind to honor and cherish her memory are her sons; Joe Bob Newman and his wife Linda from Arlington, Jerry Wayne Newman and wife Gloria from Midland and Tommy Lowell Newman of Midland. The Lord blessed Wilma with nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends today at Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Highway, between the hours of 6:00-8:00pm. A funeral service has been scheduled at 11:00am for Monday, December 31, 2012 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
