Barbara Arlene Robison, 78, of Powhatan County passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Wayne A. “Rocky” Robison, Sr.; a daughter, Leigh Ann Robison; son, Wayne A. Robison, Jr.; one sister, Bonita K. Collins; a niece, Alicia Spaid; and nephew, Bryan Collins; one granddaughter and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Robison was employed by ACAC Fitness Center as a nursery assistant. She was a member of Midlothian Chapter #85 OES and PEO Chapter M of Richmond. She graduated from Mishawaka High School of Mishawaka, Indiana, and attended Indiana University Extension. She was an avid Notre Dame fan.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where an Eastern Star Memorial Service will be conducted at 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church in Midlothian with interment in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Scottish Rite Childhood Language Center of Richmond or Mt.
